Elena Fursova
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST SINCE 2017 – MTAA MASSAGE THERAPY COLLEGE of MANITOBA
I am originally from Moscow, Russia. In my twenties, I became very passionate about dance and bodywork. I completed many training programs and participated in some dance projects as a principal dancer. I graduated with honors from the University of Physical Culture in Moscow.
Several years ago, I also learned about Yoga Therapy as a wellness system and worked as a Yoga instructor in Russia. During that time, I met many different people and some of them became my teachers in Thai Massage Therapy. I finished different courses in Thai Massage Therapy and felt I was on the right road towards realizing my potential as a health facilitator. I am still connected with my mentors and 2026 will bring me some amazing opportunities in collaboration work which I am planning to explore this coming summer.
When my family and I moved to Canada in 2013. I continued my journey as a health facilitator by finishing my 2200-hour training at the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba. At this point, my journey transformed my view of the value of touch. Over the past several years, I have pursued a variety of training programs in Canada and have studied Myofascial Cupping, Sport Massage and finished all of the modalities with the Tissue Talk Academy and became a Craniosacral Therapist.
Since 2020 I started my journey with Upledger International University by getting into Craniosacral Therapy and Somato-Emotional Release. I have become really passionate about Osteopathy, as it helps me to facilitate my clients with more intuitive work and guides them into their own journey of healing and balance. I have finished all the core courses and am now on my final stage to become a fully certified Craniosacral Therapist and the Teaching Assistant for the Upledger International University. Moreover, 2025 opened doors into Craniosacral work with infants and little humans. I completed my Level 1 Pediatrics and I am currently offering support for the families with babies, little kids and children with the special needs. My heart is full of compassion for each of my clients and I facilitate everyone with a desire to bring their body and mind into balance.
